This week Em is bringing you a Reformer on the Mat session designed to turn your mat into a mock reformer—no machine needed. This express, full-body workout keeps your powerhouse engaged from start to finish, using controlled, flowing movement to bring the feel of a reformer class straight to the floor. Without the assistance of the reformer, these movements require even more control and stability, making this a great challenge for intermediate to advanced clients looking to deepen their practice.

Throughout the session, Em weaves in core-driven exercises that also strengthen your arms, quads, and inner thighs for a well-rounded burn. Using two hand weights (1–3 kg) and a Pilates ball, she guides you through thoughtful variations of classic reformer movements. No props? No problem—every exercise can be done with just your body weight, making this class accessible no matter what you have at home.
