Waitlist Frequently Asked Questions

Our classes fill fast, but the waitlist works surprisingly well when used right. Here’s everything you need to know to make it work for you (and avoid unnecessary fees):
Waitlist Tips
  • Enable push notifications on your phone for the Premium Pilates and Fitness App, check your texts and your emails regularly so you don't miss any updates about your waitlist status.
  • Only put your name on waitlists for classes that you can attend with your schedule. If your plans change and you cannot attend a class you have waitlisted for, remove yourself from the waitlist.
  • The more organised you are with your future bookings, the more likely you will get into classes.
  • Try a different class! If you love Reformer but the class time has a sizable waitlist, try a floor class. Our floor classes are just as good as our Reformer classes!

How the Waitlist Works

If I've been promoted off the waitlist, do I need to do anything to confirm my booking?

If you get a spot, no action is needed to confirm your booking—you’re automatically added to the class and will be notified by SMS, email & a push notification (if enabled on your device).

What is the waitlist and how does it work?

The waitlist is a helpful tool we recommend you use to book into our popular classes. When you cannot book a confirmed spot in a class, add your name to the waitlist. When a spot in the class becomes available, our booking system will automatically book the first person on the waitlist into the class. If this person no longer wishes to attend the class, they will not accept the spot and the system will contact the second person on the waitlist and so on.

How will I be notified that I made it into a class?

You will be notified by SMS, email and a push notification (if enabled on your device) when you are booked into a class off the waitlist.

Booking Tips, Etiquette & Your Chances

What if I can no longer attend a class I’m on a waitlist for?

Please remove your name from the waitlist via our booking app. Treat waitlisted classes as confirmed bookings: cancel a minimum of 12 hours before or remove yourself from the waitlist if you can't attend and you will not be charged. There is no penalty for removing yourself off the waitlist at any time.

Can I waitlist for multiple classes in a row? (such as 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30am)

We kindly ask you to avoid putting your name on every waitlist for multiple classes. As previously mentioned, you have more than an 80% chance of getting off a waitlist, so you may be automatically booked into every class you waitlisted for! Not only will incur fees for every class you do not attend, but this overuse of the waitlist does not allow other clients the opportunity to possibly secure a spot.

Can I waitlist for two classes that run at the same time?

Only waitlist for one class at a time. We do not recommend putting your name on the waitlist for two classes that run at the same time. The chances are very high that you will receive a spot into both classes and as you can only attend one class, you will receive a late cancellation or a no-show fee for the class you didn’t attend.

Can I check my progress on the waitlist?

You can check your waitlist position by logging into your account or using the PPF app.

What's the best way to guarantee my spot in a class?

Bookings open 2 weeks in advance, so the best way is to book as early as possible. But, please remember to cancel if you can no longer attend as late-cancel and no-show fees apply in order to make it fair for all members.

What if all the classes are waitlisted in my trial week?

Your trial will commence on the date of your first confirmed booking. If you are not added to a class off the waitlist, your trial will not commence. Instead, it will begin on the date of your first confirmed class.

What are the chances I'll get into a class from the waitlist?

While there's no guarantee, there's a good chance you will make it into a waitlisted class. In fact, our members make it into their waitlisted class about 80% of the time.

Last-Minute Bookings

What if I'm added to a class from the waitlist and I can't attend?

If you’re still on the waitlist within 12 hours of the class start time and get added into the class, the system will consider this a confirmed booking. That means the usual fees will apply if you don’t attend or cancel within the 12-hour window.

What are the fees I will incur if I am added to a class from the waitlist within 12 hours of the class commencing?

If you remove yourself from the waitlist, no fees are charged. If you are added to the class within 12 hours of start time and cancel your booking via the PPF app, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of $10.If you progress off the waitlist within 12 hours or less of the class starting but do not cancel the booking via the PPF app and do not attend the class, this is considered a no show and you will be charged a fee of $15.Thank you for understanding that these fees are in place to provide all members with the greatest chance to attend their desired classes/es.

What happens in the 60 minutes before class if I'm still on the waitlist?

If you're still on the waitlist 60 minutes before class commences, then Fast Fingers First activates. When a spot becomes available, everyone on the waitlist will be notified via text message that a spot is available and can claim it instantly. How to claim Your Spot: When you receive the text, just respond with "1" to grab the spot, or "9" to cancel from the waitlist. The first person to confirm gets the spot! To maximise your chances, keep your phone handy and be ready to act quickly when a spot opens.
