1. The Food Medic Podcast
Hosted by Dr. Hazel Wallace, who specialises in nutrition, Dr. Wallace is great at breaking down the facts surrounding nutrition. The podcast regularly hosts engaging and knowledgeable guests that help to simplify the science. Her most recent season has been delving into women's health - a seriously underfunded and misunderstood part of the healthcare system.
2. I Weigh with Jameela Jamil
Hosted by Jameela Jamil, a funny and interesting podcast going into the taboo topics of mental health and activism. Jamil is joined by some great guests and has helped me understand more about different cultures, inspired me to be more open about my thoughts and feelings and is fun to listen to in the car!
3. My Dad Wrote a Porno
Considering this is World Wellbeing Week, what better way to look after your mental wellbeing than with a few laughs (or many laughs). Hosted by a few UK radio personalities, one of whom's dad has taken to writing terrible erotica in his retirement. It is a hilarious series and there are 5 seasons to catch up on, so get listening!
