One of the ways we do this is by looking into new software to ensure we have the most innovative, user-friendly booking system for our clients. Hence the recent changeover to the booking system Momence! Read on to find out all you need to know about this positive change:

Direct In-App Communication with Business:
- We have the ability to communicate directly through the app to send special updates or notes, so you can feel more connected to the business and the community.
- If something goes wrong, like a booking issue or technical glitch, or if you have a general query, you have access to quick support through the in-app messaging system. This allows studio managers to efficiently respond to clients directly.
SMS Notifications
- On top of receiving email notifications, you will now receive a SMS when you are added into class from the waitlist, or if a spot becomes available within 60 minutes of the class commencing. This makes it easier for you to stay on top of your bookings and notifications without having to constantly check emails. In addition, it gives you the ability to respond to a waitlisted spot more efficiently, increasing their chances of attending more classes!
Sync with Personal Calendar
- You can sync your bookings with your personal calendar (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc.), which is great for keeping everything organized and ensuring you never double-book yourself or forget a session.
Convenience of Different Payment Methods
- When you want to make a purchase in the studio, you have the freedom to choose the card that is on file, apple pay or a different card method making purchases much more convenient!
Seamless Booking Experience
- Booking classes, events, or appointments is simple. You can quickly see available times, book a spot, and confirm. No confusing steps—just a clear, concise flow.
- The design is clean and uncluttered, with important information like class schedules, bookings, and payments front-and-centre. It’s quick to load, and you can usually get to where you need to be with just a couple of clicks.
Mobile-Friendly and Web Browser
- A fully functional mobile app allows you to manage bookings and payments on-the-go.
- You can access your profile via a web browser if you are at the computer and unable to access your phone!
Milestone Visits
- Milestone visits are tracked so you and your instructors can celebrate your dedicated attendance and progress!
Transaction Notifications
- You are sent receipts for each individual purchase that is made, making it easier to track your spending and membership payments.
- If a membership payment fails, you will be notified via email, giving you notice and time to privately rectify the issue another attempt is made.

The Waitlist Explained
How First Come First Serve Works:
When a spot in the class becomes available, the system will automatically try to book the first person on the waitlist into the class.
Confirmation of Your Spot:
- If the first person’s payment method fails, the system automatically move to the next person on the list.
- Each customer will receive a SMS confirming that they have been booked from the waitlist into the class.
Cancelling your spot within 12 hours of class commencing:
- If you do not remove yourself from the waitlist and are automatically added to a class within 12 hours of the class commencing, you will be charged a $10 late fee if you cancel yourself out of class. This charge is immediate and will be charged as soon as you cancel yourself out of class.
60 Minutes prior to class commencing, the above changes and Fast Fingers First activates!
What this means:
Spots Open Up Quickly:
When a spot opens in a class one hour or less before the class commences, Everyone on the waitlist will be notified via text message that a spot is available and can claim it instantly.
Claim Your Spot:
- As soon as you receive the notification, simply click the link in the text to book your spot.
- The fastest response wins! If you’re quick enough, the spot is yours.
What You Need to Do:
- To maximise your chances, keep your phone handy and be ready to act quickly when a spot opens. The first person to confirm gets the spot!

Important: Late Cancel and No-Show Fees Still Apply!
Once you confirm your spot off the waitlist, our usual late cancel and no-show fees apply:
- Late Cancel (within 12 hours of class starting): $10 fee. This charge will now be deducted immediately.
- No Show: $15 fee.
