School is out for term 2! Even though my kids are not old enough to be at school yet, I am always trying to find ways to entertain my toddler. Smoothies are always a big hit!! He likes to get all the ingredients out for me, loves to watch the blender and of course enjoys drinking the smoothie. Plus, I get to indulge in the smoothie too! Whilst my favourites are green smoothies as I can sneakily add vegetables, there's nothing yummier than a peanut butter chocolate smoothie. Stephanie Kelly's (mumma_and_boys on instagram) delicious Mayver's smoothie is below. It only serves 1 though; so double the quantities if you want a taste!
Ingredients
1⁄4 cup Mayver’s Smooth Peanut Butter
1 + 1⁄4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
2 bananas
2 tbsp cacao
1 tbsp oats
4 ice cubes
Method
1. Blend all ingredients together
2. Serve in a Mayver’s jar or kid friendly cup!
3. Enjoy!
