We are going to pretend that the winter winds have left and that it is spring! And with the warmer weather comes smoothie bowls! I don't know about you, but I can never get my homemade smoothies to taste as good as the shop ones! So I've decided to follow recipes from now on! Here is a simple, yet delicious peanut butter banana smoothie bowl from the queen of recipes, Lala. We hope you like it!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 - 2 cups frozen banana slices
- 1 1/2 tbsp smooth natural peanut butter
- 1 scoop (30g) vegan peanut butter protein powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
- splash of milk
METHOD:
1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend for 2-4 minutes, or until very creamy and smooth.
Serve immediately to your serving bowls and top with banana, cinnamon, granola, peanut butter and enjoy!! — or transfer to a freezer safe container and freeze until necessary. Enjoy!
NOTES:
Serves 2-4
** I recommend scraping down the sides of your blender every 30 seconds or using a tamper to assist the blade!
** you may need to add another splash of milk to assist your blender
** This Blender I use is a Vitamix, but all blenders work.
