As a Pilates and fitness instructor, I thought I would smash my postnatal recovery. I had grand delusions of myself being back to my old workouts as soon as I gave birth. Almost two years after having my first baby, I still laugh at this! Postpartum is a marathon, not a sprint. I completely credit my postnatal recovery to Pilates and to very, very simple exercises.
After going through this journey myself, I added more Mums n Bubs Postnatal Friendly Pilates classes to our studio timetables.
