Cellulite Is Not A Dirty Word

July 22, 2020

Hi guys, Chris here!

Today I want to talk about cellulite - a word that often gets a very bad rap.

It's true. Cellulite is a horrible word. However, not for the reasons you are thinking. It is a horrible word because of the negative image it has been given.

What is cellulite?

Cellulite is simply fat deposits under the skin. It is NOT a disease that needs a cure, it is NOT a parasite laying eggs on your brain and infecting you, it is simply fat deposition.

Cellulite is perfectly normal

Unfortunately, when I did my Google search to find relevant information on the subject, the top searches were pretty upsetting to see. Severe cellulite, cellulite treatment, causes, creams, legs, symptoms, all the top searches on Google for something that is perfectly normal.

Should I try to get rid of cellulite?

While there are ways you can get rid of cellulite, they are not long lasting and can be potentially quite dangerous to your health. Instead of worrying about or trying to 'get rid of' cellulite, focus on maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Move your body daily, whether it's pilates, running or a walk around the block, and eat a healthy diet consisting of plenty of fresh fruit, veggies and whole grains.

Feel good about your body!

Why am I writing about this today? Because I want you to feel better about your body. I want you to look at the part of your body with cellulite on it and say “Hey! You’re looking good today kid!”

Remember, cellulite shouldn't be a C-word we cringe at or try to avoid. It doesn't change who you are as a person. We only get one life, so let's enjoy it, be kind to others and stop worrying about cellulite.

Thanks for reading! Until next time folks...
