Pizza Toasts

A delicious, easy and healthy summer snack. You can add whatever you wish here; baby spinach, tomatoes, avocado, another meat instead of smoked salmon or whatever you have in the fridge. Recipe from our lovely girl Lala.

Serves 1.

Ingredients

• 2 slices wholemeal bread

• 50g tomato paste 

• 25g bocconcini balls (cut into slices)

• 1 slice tasty cheese

• 35g smoked salmon (cut into pieces)

• bbq salt seasoning 

• Italian herbs seasoning

• 5ml extra virgin olive oil

• fresh basil leaves + balsamic vinegar glaze to serve

Method:

Add tomato paste to both bread slices. Top one slice with bocconcini. Top the other with cheese slice. Equally divide + add smoked salmon to both. Sprinkle over seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil. 

Add to air fryer and air fry at 180°C for 5-10min (or until golden brown). If you don't have an air fryer put the slices together and pan fry or place in a sandwich press.

Serve with fresh basil and balsamic vinegar glaze. Enjoy warm!!
